My name is Madeleine DiBiasi. I'm a fractional Chief of Staff, digital production consultant for creative agencies and arts organizations.

I’m currently taking on new engagements.

I'm based in San Francisco, but I've operated everywhere from Nashville to London to wherever the work needs me.

After starting in development at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, I spent over a decade in the agency world — rising from producer to Global Director of Production at Fantasy, where I led teams across the US and Europe delivering work for some of the biggest brands in the world. From there I moved to the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco as Director of Digital Strategy. What learned is that creative organizations all hit the same wall: the work outgrows the way the team operates. I help leaders fix that.

Fractional Chief of Staff

You're the founder or director holding everything together — strategy, team, clients, and the stuff that falls through the cracks. I step in as your operational right hand: running the rhythms, clearing the bottlenecks, and making sure the things you decide actually happen. I manage cross-functional initiatives, stand up leadership cadences, and translate big-picture vision into week-by-week execution.

Fractional COO

Your organization has grown past the point where hustle alone keeps it running, but you don't need a full-time operations executive. I embed part-time to build the systems, processes, and team structures that let you scale without losing the creative quality that got you here. Resource planning, vendor and budget management, workflow design, hiring strategy — the unsexy infrastructure that makes great work possible.

Production Consulting

Projects slipping. Budgets bloating. Producers burned out. I've led production organizations from the inside — at agencies handling global brand work and at institutions mounting major exhibitions — so I know where the breakdowns happen and how to fix them. I work with your team to redesign scoping, staffing models, and delivery workflows so the work ships on time, on budget, and without the chaos.

I work for creative agencies and cultural institutions, typically working directly with directors & leadership teams. If your creative organization is evolving faster than your systems can keep up, that's exactly the problem I solve.
